Banks issue 480 loans under Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program for almost UAH 1.2 bln over week – Economy Ministry
KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past week, authorized banks issued 480 loans under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program for UAH 1.2 billion, and from the start of the program, the number of loans issued under it increased to 24,590 for the amount of UAH 64.8 billion, the Ministry of Economy reported.
According to data on its website, published on Monday, UAH 961 million of such financing, issued last week, amounted to anti-crisis loans to replenish working capital and another UAH 77 million – loans to refinance previously issued ones.
At the same time, the largest part of loans issued since the start of the program is anti-crisis loans (UAH 35.47 billion), another UAH 21.5 billion of the total amount – refinancing of previously issued loans, and UAH 7.8 billion – investment loans.
The most active participants in the program are agricultural companies (44%), companies in the segment of trade and production (26%), and industrial processing companies – 17%, the ministry said.
Currently, 38 banks are working under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program. The leaders among them are PrivatBank, Oschadbank and Raiffeisenbank.
