Azerbaijan, Hungary sign memorandum of cooperation in gas sector
BAKU. Jan 30 (Interfax) – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban signed several intergovernmental documents, including a joint declaration on an expanded strategic partnership between the two countries, in Budapest on Monday.
The parties also signed six more documents, specifically, a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of friendly relations between the cities of Shusha and Veszprem, cooperation in culture, tourism, urban development, science, economy and other spheres of public life, and a memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on cooperation in the field of natural gas.
A memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency and the Hungarian Agriculture Ministry on cooperation in the areas of plant quarantine and plant protection, a memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani State Migration Service and the Hungarian National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing, a memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on cooperation in peaceful space exploration and space activity, and a protocol on cooperation between the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade were signed, as well.
