Azerbaijan doubles gas supplies to Bulgaria in 2022
BAKU. Feb 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Azerbaijan supplied 600 million cubic meters of gas to Bulgaria in 2022, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on Saturday.
Shahbazov had a meeting with Bulgarian Energy Minister Rossen Hristov in Baku on Saturday. "We discussed prospects of diversification of gas supplies via the IGB interconnector and other routes. Our export of gas to Bulgaria reached 600 million cubic meters in 2022," he wrote on a social network.
In 2021, Azerbaijan exported 280 million cubic meters of gas to Bulgaria, therefore, gas supplies doubled in 2022.
