Average price of gas imported to Ukraine in Oct grows by 26.3% to $686
KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Natural gas into the territory of Ukraine in October 2021 was imported at an average price of $685.67 (UAH 18,063) per 1,000 cubic meters, the Ministry of Economy reported on Monday.
Thus, the price of imported gas over the past month was 26.3% higher than the price of September 2021 in U.S. dollars, when it amounted to $543.10 (UAH 14,481) per 1,000 cubic meters.
At the same time, in October 2020, the average price of gas imported to Ukraine was $171.20 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 75% ($514.5) less than in October this year.
