Attack on Ukrainian president's aide may be linked to his political activities – Servant of People party
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The attack on Serhiy Shefir, first aide to the president of Ukraine, may be connected to his political activities, Oleksandr Korniyenko, first deputy head of the Servant of the People faction, said.
"The very nature [of the attack] is clearly an element of pressure […] There are many forces in Ukraine that don’t like our party. The first aide is a key person on the team. It’s definitely connected to his political activities," Korniyenko told reporters in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday.
