ASKA-Life reduces net premiums by 5% for nine months of 2021
KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC ASKA-Life insurance company (Kyiv) in January-September 2021 collected net insurance premiums in the amount of UAH 273.7 million, which is 5% less than in the same period a year earlier, according to the company’s financial report, published in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine.
The report notes that the company’s gross premiums for the year decreased by 6%, to UAH 283.918 million. The premiums transferred for reinsurance amounted to UAH 250,000.
For the nine months in 2021, the company paid out to customers UAH 10.728 million (more than 2.26 times).
The company’s administrative costs for the year increased by 20%, to UAH 10.918 million, sales costs decreased by 7.7%, to UAH 252.539 million.
Gross profit amounted to UAH 267.193 million (less by 8.4%), operating loss – UAH 3.769 million, net loss – UAH -1.440 million.
ASKA-Life was registered in 2003, it specializes in life insurance.
According to its website, 44.3331% of the company’s shares are owned by Oleksandr Sosis, 55.6667% – by SCM Finance Limited.
