As result of shelling of Myrhorod, military airfield damaged

KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The military airfield in the town of Myrhorod, Poltava region, and the equipment located on it were damaged as a result of rocket fire by Russian invaders on Wednesday, the press center of the 831st tactical aviation brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

"Despite the powerful shelling of the military infrastructure of Myrhorod by the Russian invaders, we will rebuild our airfield and restore all the equipment, just as every corner of our unbending and independent Ukraine will be rebuilt!"

Earlier it was reported that Russian invaders on Wednesday launched a missile attack on Myrhorod, probably using Kh-22 missiles, as a result of which a fire started. "Today, at about 11:00, Russian troops launched a group strike with Air-to-Surface missiles, probably Kh-22, on the military infrastructure of the town of Myrhorod," the 831st brigade said.

Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration Dmytro Lunin said that as a result of four "arrivals" through the infrastructure of Myrhorod, there were no casualties.
