As result of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, 461 children killed – PGO
KYIV. Feb 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As of the morning of February 7, 2023, more than 1,380 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the Russia’s full-scale armed aggression: according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, some 461 children died and more than 919 were injured of varying severity, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) said.
These figures are not final. Work continues to install them in places of warfare, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
The largest number of children suffered in Donetsk region some 443, Kharkiv some 270, Kyiv some 123, Kherson some 86, Zaporizhia some 84, Mykolaiv some 83, Chernihiv some 68, Luhansk some 66, Dnipropetrovsk some 63.
Some 3,126 educational institutions were damaged due to bombardment and shelling by Russian armed forces, and 337 of them were completely destroyed.
