Armenian govt to allocate $1 bln for construction of highway to Iran
YEREVAN. Sept 16 (Interfax) – The Armenian government will allocate $1 billion for the development of a section of an alternative road to Iran, Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said.
"The Armenian government will allocate about $1 billion for the construction of a section of the Kajaran-Sisian road [a section of road to Iran] in the Syunik region as part of the North-South corridor," Kerobyan told reporters on Thursday.
