Arakhamia on EP's decision to create Special Tribunal: Russia will lose and be held to account
KYIV. Jan 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The decision of the European Parliament to create a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression of Russia against Ukraine will contribute to Ukraine’s victory and help to hold Russia to account, Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia has said.
"The European Parliament has voted in favor of the creation of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression of Russia against Ukraine. It is a strong decision for us and another bad news for the occupier state," he said on the Telegram channel on Thursday.
"Ukraine will get everything necessary for its victory – weapons, financial, political, and legal support. Russia will lose and be held to account for Bucha, Mariupol, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Donbas, and Crimea. We will see in court everyone who gave orders and obeyed them," Arakhamia said.
He also emphasized that this decision is a very strong signal from the West.
"The rats may try to escape from the bunker. But there will be verdicts for sure," Arakhamia said.
