Another 6 vessels carrying food leave Ukraine for Turkey, China, UK, Lebanon, Netherlands
NEW YORK, UN. Oct 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Another six vessels carrying over 85,500 tonnes of agricultural products departed Ukrainian ports on Wednesday after receiving permission from the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC).
"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports that six vessels left Ukrainian ports today carrying a total of 85,800 metric tonnes of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the center said.
In particular, the CS Calvina is carrying 33,000 metric tonnes of corn to the Netherlands, Almirante Storni is carrying 21,500 tonnes of sunflower meal to China, the Dayton H bulker is carrying 10,700 tonnes of corn to Lebanon, and the Densa Defne is carrying 6,600 tonnes of sunflower oil to the United Kingdom. The Kubrosli Y (11,000 tonnes of peas) and the Kemal Kuru (3,000 tonnes of sunflower seed) are bound for Turkey.
"As of 19 October, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 7,946,165 metric tonnes. A total of 730 voyages (370 inbound and 360 outbound) have been enabled so far," the JCC said.
