Amount of tax amnesty amounts to UAH 8.8 bln – Hetmantsev
KYIV. March 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The total amount of amnestied assets for the period of the voluntary declaration, which ended on March 1, amounted to UAH 8.824 billion, and the amount collected to the budget was UAH 547.5 million, Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, taxation and customs policy, said on the Telegram channel.
According to the data he published, a total of 845 declarations were filed.
Taking into account these data, the average rate of payment to the budget for the entire period of the amnesty was about 6.2%, and the size of the average declaration was UAH 10.4 million.
Hetmantsev specified that almost UAH 2.6 billion, or almost 30% of the total amount, was declared over the last two weeks of the amnesty.
Earlier, Hetmantsev pointed out that as of January 6, 2023, the amount of amnestied assets exceeded UAH 6 billion, and the amount collected to the budget amounted to UAH 372 million, as of August 25, 2022 – UAH 4.526 billion and UAH 269.2 million, respectively. As of the end of August, 479 declarations were filed, for an average of UAH 9.4 million each, and the rate of payment to the budget was 5.95%.
