Aggressor more actively using assault aircraft due to offensive of Ukrainian Armed Forces – Air Forces spokesperson
KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia is actively using assault aircraft because of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said spokesperson of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat.
"Intensive offensive actions of our troops are underway. The enemy uses more aviation, because ground forces and means also tend to run out and are destroyed by our defense forces, and thus the enemy increases in certain directions with a certain purpose, with certain tasks. Namely, these are the actions of attack aircraft, as well as helicopters, most often it is the Ka-52," Ihnat said at a briefing at the Ukraine media centre in Kyiv on Monday.
