AFU repels invaders' attacks near Mayorske and Zaitseve, struck their ammunition depots, strongholds – General Staff
KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Defense Forces over the past day successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Vesela Dolyna, Mayorske and Zaitseve, Donetsk region, according to operational information on the Russian invasion as of 6:00 p.m. Thursday, published on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In order to support the actions of ground groups, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 18 strikes on the places of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment. The defeat of 10 areas of concentration of the occupiers’ manpower, three strongholds and five positions of anti-aircraft missile systems has been confirmed. The enemy’s losses are being clarified," the summary says.
The air defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in different directions destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian occupiers.
Divisions of Rocket troops and artillery defeated three control points, 12 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy. Two ammunition depots, air defense equipment and logistics hubs of the enemy fell into the affected area, the General Staff reported.
