AFU General Staff: Russians continue to place military equipment, personnel in educational institutions in temporarily occupied territories
KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation troops continue to use educational institutions in the temporarily occupied territories to accommodate personnel and military equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reports.
"Thus, according to available information, in the settlement of Khomivka, Luhansk region, on the territory of a local agrarian lyceum, military equipment is located, and enemy personnel are located in the corps," the report notes.
The situation is the same in other occupied settlements of Kharkiv (Podoly), Zaporizhia (Chernihivka) and Kherson (Pidstepne) regions.
The enemy is introducing an enhanced security regime in the South Buh direction, the General Staff reports.
"Local residents of some settlements of Kherson region are prohibited from approaching the crossings," the report notes.
