After war Ukraine, Poland to have friendly, promising relations, Ukraine feels Poland's strong support – Ukrainian PM

KYIV. May 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – After the war, Ukraine and Poland will have friendly and promising relations, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.

"Such friendly, warm, even fraternal relations between our countries have not been for a very long time. We feel very strong support from Poland these days," Shmyhal said in an interview with the Polish public broadcaster TVP.

The prime minister said that during the full-scale aggression of Russia, Poland has been actively helping Ukraine in various directions.

"Since the beginning of full-scale aggression, any issues that could cause tension between our countries have been put aside: we are only moving forward, we see our common future. We understand that after the war we have a great future in terms of economic recovery, building joint defense prospects, building joint economic powerful things," he added.

Shmyhal also noted the good relations between Ukrainians and Poles.

"We will solve all other issues in an absolutely friendly and fraternal way," he said.
